Default diplexing with the KaKu dish

Currantly DirecTV has the 99 and the 103 satellites sending high def locals. It may be true that some people have had sucess diplexing the high fequency signal, but they will not be able to diplex the low frequency signals.

As it is today the 103 satellite is broadcasting at 1650 to 2150 and the 99 which is the Mpeg 4 signal at 250 to 750. The problem is most people across the country do not know which satellite is actuaclly provideing the local channels. My advise is not to try it. When the new channels launch this fall they will all be Mpeg 4 and broadcasted in low frequency. Take the time and run an independent line for your antenna. It will save you time in the long run.
