When the documentations says not to place any devices in-line between pre-amp and power supply, they are talking about device that are not power passive, such as splitters and diplexers.

The grounding block is passive, so it won't block the power from the injector to the amp. Normal splitters will not pass power, but if you buy a power passive splitter, this can be placed between pre-amp and power injector.

RG6 or RG59 can be used, but of course RG6 is recommended. It was my understanding that the 7777 does amplfy FM. The factory preset is to block or trap the FM signal out. There is a switch inside the amp that you can flip to pass FM.
