I may be a little late in relying to your post, but some of the information you have given seems contradictory!

IF you're just 7-10 miles from the Station, I don't think you'd need a "Green" rated antenna. Yellow would do fine.

Regardless of how much power the Station was putting out, at that distance you ought to be able to just sick a Clothes Hanger in the back of your set, and open a window to hear it ! (just kidding of course)

Given that you're getting most of your "watchables" over a PTV, I'd just get a small UHF Indoor (inexpensive) Antenna, plug it in, to the available "F" connection on your TV, and see what you can get.

You can move your other inputs to the F-1, 2, Aux or whatever, and just select which source you want to watch.

The WTSC-CA is Analog on Ch 50, and their LD-Digital will be on Ch-43.
Hopefully you have an ATSC set, and won't need an DtA converter to get this station later. Hope this helps!
