Default Differences between the KR1 and MB6000

KR1
1xRTT/EVDO cards only (PC5740 after RK1006 update only)
(PC5220 not supported).
Two Wi-Fi antennas
One internal and one 'AUX' connected to external RP-SMA bulkhead connector.
Four port Ethernet Switch.
Micro Linux OS.
Includes auto power adapter and AC-DC power adapter.
Small in size

Includes most basic Wi-Fi router networking capabilities. The interface is navigated by an upper horizontal menu and then submenus on the left. Offers DynDNS client. The RK1006 Firmware adds a "Signal Level" indicator on Status page.

MB6000
1xRTT/EVDO cards and GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA cards.
One internal Wi-Fi dipole antenna on a wire soldered directly to the circuit board (taking advantage of the point of the pyramid, as it were).
Single Ethernet port.
Micro Linux OS.
Includes AC-DC adapter only.
On/Off button.
7" x 7" x 5.5" plastic enclosure.

Includes most basic Wi-Fi router networking capabilities. Does not support DynDNS client. Unlimited VPN pass-through. Because they support UMTS/HSDPA Cards, the higher price is justified. They really ought to think about including an auto adapter in the box, since so many folks want to use this in cars/trucks/boats and RVs on 12v power.
