It's a little change, but still...
because our SatLookLite
is one of our most popular satellite meters. It's the only meter in its price range that successfully measures the signal from SWM-5 and SWM-3 LNBs. That makes it perfect for tailgaters and for people who will only use it occasionally.
In the past, the SatLookLite has featured a fixed female connector on the bottom. Our latest shipment now comes with a barrel connector and a push-on male connector on the meter. The barrel connector is nothing special and you can really use any barrel connector for a quick test. If you're going to be using this meter a lot and you want the exact right one, choose this satellite-approved one from Pico Digital
Even though push-on connectors are usually not used for permanent installations, I've personally spoken to both our manufacturer and to several satellite TV engineers who assure me that there is no reason to worry about a push-on connector for the satellite meter.
We are currently talking to the factory about whether or not we can go back to the fixed female connection of the previous meters, but we haven't gotten any complaints (yet.) So, let us know what you think is the better way of putting this meter together, and we'll take your comments to the factory!
