Unhappy WB68 Problem

Just got a new WB68 to replace my original DirectTV 4X4 multiswitch because I needed 5 satellite signals to connect to: one DVR recievers, one HD w/DVR receiver and one HD receiver. I have the new 5LNB satellite disk that was installed a few months ago. When I put in the new WB68, I can not get connected to all the satellites on all my three revceivers. I can get most of the channel with high def but not all of them. Like I can get ESPNHD on channel 72 but I can not get ESPN2HD on 73. Channel 73 does not show up on the station guide.
I have tried switching(using the other outputs in the switch) the connections around, unplug & plug cables, however, it did not fix the problem.
I put my old 4X4 back and they all worked fine!! However, the original problem of not being to watch another station with one of my DVR when it is recording another at the same time. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem of not getting all the satellite signals on all my recievers?? Help!!

Default Further investigation

After further investigation, my Slimline antenna already has multiswitch built in. I only have a 4 in 4 out feed-through to connect from the satellite LNBs to my receivers on my original set-up(no additional multiswitch between the LNBs and receivers). The new WB68 will only pass the following satellite signals:
- 101 All transponders are ok
- 110 all three transponders are ok
- 119 only odd transponders are fine(27, 29 & 31), the evens have 0 signal strength.
- 99 only odd transponders are working (1,3,7), the evens have 0 signal strength
- 103b only odd transponders are working, the evens have 0 signal strength
On the even transponders on 119, 99 & 104 the signal meter all registered 0 signals strength.
All these data seem to indicate that the mutliswitch is passing the 13v and 18v (since I am able to get odd and even transponders on some satellites) as well as the 22Khz switching satellite signal(since I can get the other satellite signals) properly. The possible reason that I am not getting the even transponders on 99,110,& 103b is that these signals are too marginal to begin with and the WB68 insertion looses are so high that I can not get the signal??? Do I need an multiswitch with amplifier to work with my system??? If so, which one should I use???

Default Low signal from long cable runs?

We have sell a ton of these and the failure rate is pretty low, lower than Satellite USA's (Spaun) multiswitches. My guess is that it's either a bad switch or low signal. If your runs are near or over 100 ft that could definately be it. The signal could be too low for the receiver to recognize it.

If cable length is the issue then you can purchase an amp. Like this model from Sonora, the LA142A, this amp takes two lines, so if you just have a couple long runs than this will fix it, otherwise by two and put it on the satellite side of the multiswitch. . When choose satellite equipment that is compatible with DTV's new wide band, you have to make sure it passes 250-2400 MHz.

Hmm, if you previously had a 4x4 multiswitch, then you may not have the B band converter modules at the inputs of all your HD IRDs. The module (usually the zinwell SUP-2400) is an inline device and is easy to spot dangling from the input(s) of the IRD.

The WB68 requires the converter module when used with the slimline LNBs. You may already have the modules, but it is worth checking.
