Question about the AU9 slimline dish
Just a question due to my curiosity. Maybe this has been addressed elsewhere. I have the AU9 dish and noted the LNB mount has what looks like positions for satellites below 99 degrees (another "wing" on the side opposite the 110 degree LNBs). Was Directv planning on satellites in those positions at one time and was this dish designed to accommodate extra LNBs? Does anyone know the reasoning behind that? Also one other question. I have seen a number of houses that have the AU9 dish and also have a single feed dish (old style) in addition. What would the extra dish be for? I can't remember the orientation of the single dish but it was off quite a ways from the AU9.
