Default best antenna choice.

i am new at this would like to know what is the things i need to buy to get the most hd channels possible.i know i need to get an outdoor ant.been looking at the directional 70 mile range one because i live in new bedford mass.and where i live there is a school about 200'away in the next block but that's all i know.been reading about channelmaster,amps,splitters just need to get on the right track please...thank you.

I can help you pick out a setup that should work. Just a couple questions first. What is your zipcode? Are you going to be running this to analog TVS as well? How many TVS will this feed. What would be the estimated cable length from the antenna to the furthest tv? How many stories is the building this willl be on?

I was wondering if you can sugest a signal meter for a Parobolic Antenna ,also if there is a software for the channel linup and freq.That would be for analog / digital off are antenna

The website that lists the analog and digital channel assignments and frequencies is AntennaWeb. As for the signal meter, we recommend the Digiair Pro It's a pretty nice little meter, comes with a case, charger, car charger etc. It's a great tool for digital and analog signals.
