Default AcuTrac 22 Pro

I have a AcuTrac 22 Pro which I bought from Solid Signal a few months ago. Right now I am checking my current signal from my Triple LNB before I upgrade to the 5 LNB Slimline. Right now I have the meter fully charged, then I unplug my cables from my HR20-700 which leads to my 3 LNB, when I try turning on the meter it won't turn on, I then take the cables off the meter, then I turn the meter on. When I put one of the cables to the meter I get the message "Over Current" and I can't view the signal or do anything. My question, what could be causing the "Over Current" and should I just put new wire from the satellite to the receiver?
