Combine OTA HD with analog Cable TV?
My HDTV (Sony 40V3000) has only one RF input (F connector). I want to use an OTA antenna for digital HD channels and keep my analog cable connection. I don't want to use a separate tuner (e.g. VCR), and I think the TV will tune both analog and digital channels. Can I just use a standard splitter/combiner to "mix" the two sources into one output to my TV?

You cannot run cable televison down the same line as OTA signal. What you need is an A/B switch, there is one input for cable and one for the OTA. From this box one line goes to your televison and then you can simply switch back and forth. Winegard TV-0151 A/B switch
