For marine use we have found great results we these three antennas, each one has benefits for certain situations. We would like to share this to help people out who are trying to pick out the right antenna for their boat.
CM3000A: This is a disk type omnidirectional. This antenna will hold up to the weather and salt water well. It picks up from all directions, so no matter whether in motion or docked this is going to pick up well.
GS2200: The advantage of the GS2200 is that it picks up further then the omni, but one 90 degree turn and the reception could fade to snow.
It picks up in two opposite directions simultaneously so it has the ability to pick up two different transmitters like the omnidireciton, but from further away.
5MS9000: This option may be the best if you sail in a straight course a lot or are docked. It has a built in a rotator, so you can move a small antenna within this dome. It is far better against weather than the GS2200, and with the built in rotator it is the strongest. It would work well if your docked, and could be easily adjusted if the direction changes as you sail away from a transmitter.
All three antennas have amps built in which is a huge help ,and should deliver good signal even when split to a couple tvs.
