Added Coverage with an Upgraded Outdoor Antenna for YX500
Those who already have a YX500 and are not getting the desired indoor coverage or have a weak signal outside may consider upgrading the outdoor antennas. The YX026-CEL is an outdoor antenna compatible with the YX500-CEL. This antenna provides 11 dBi of gain; 8 dBi more higher the original antenna. The YX023-PCS, compatible with YX500-PCS models, provides also 13 dBi of gain. Because these antennas are directional, they will pull in a stronger signal outside, resulting in increased indoor coverage.
