Lightning protection installation

Hello,

I just ordered and received a lightning protection kit for my Wi-Ex antenna. it came with no instructions whatsoever, and I'm hoping someone can help! It's kind of important to install this correctly

There's a white wire that looks like the one already attached to the antenna; I'm thinking it will act as an extender; one piece is a male-male coupler with a slot for the ground wire, OK. There's a large clamp that I suppose attaches the ground wire to the stake by my electrical boxes.

But there's also a metal piece that looks like it fits the corner of a table or something - what is this?

The extra wire acts as an extension that goes one one side of the grounding block or the other, whichever is more convenient. The grounding block is that metal block with a coax in and out, and the ground point. You then run the ground wire to a electrical meter, using that corner clamp, or if you have a water pipe going in the ground you can clamp it to that. One or the other, not both. I have linked a diagram to display this.
