Default Question: Upgrade From 3 LNB to 5 LNB

Currently use a Channel Master High Gain dish with 3 LNB horn. Is there a kit for converting 3 LNB dish to a 5 LNB dish?

No, there is no upgrade kit for this Gain Master dish. We have had a lot of requests for this, but Channel Master has not disclosed any intrest to manufacture such a kid.

If it were just a matter of chaning out the LNBS it might not be that practical of an upgrade. For instance the Gain Master measures 35 X 24 in. , the Slim Line measures 32.5 X 22.5 in.

Default Yes but does the new dish offer the rain fade protection

of the Channel Master. If not, can you add two round dishes aimed at the new sats? I really don't want to give up my Channel Master.

Thanks!

I don't have the channel master, but I did my dtv dish setup myself after two different attempts from 'professional' installers. Its perfect with the 3 satellites. No rain/snow/lightning/wind/etc interferes with my dtv. I don't want to go thru that again the that 5 lnb dish. I just want to get two more dishes and point them at the correct satellites, run my cable, upgrade my multiswitches and be done.

The only thing that is an unknown to me is: whats the correct type of LNB for the two new satellites? Is it commercially available?
