DISH Network at home and work

I have a dual LNB DISH network system here at work. I want to take it home on the weekends to watch the BigTen network. I know I need to mount a dish at home but my question is this; do I need to take the whole receiver back and forth or could I get a second receiver and just take the card back and forth?
