Default Spaun WBS41602NF power supply

Just ordered Spaun WBS41602NF multiswitch.

Replacing older Spaun for 3LNB 5x16 multiswitch (DMS51602NF I think)

My question is - what do I do for power for the new switch?

The older switch had integrated power supply.

New one says "Remote powerable via power port." - What exactly do they mean?

The switch is centrally located approx 50-60 ft from Sat Dish in equipment room.

Do I need to order a separate power supply?

Thanks!
Dan

The remote power is the normal AC adapter that plugs in the wall, but it has a coax connector on it. And as you can see in the picture the Spaun takes a coax input for power. This lets you run a coax from the power supply to switch. A lot of people like this because they can run a custom cable length.

Yes, agreed, I like the coax power idea.

I'm guessing this means the unit ships WITH the coax style power supply?

Was just trying to verify I still don't need to order the power supply separately.

Nothing worse than getting ready to plug it all in and finding out you don't have all the parts!

Thanks!
